Deadpool Review

Big Screen Review by Wangui E

Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former special forces operative who now works as a mercenary. His world comes crashing down when he is diagnosed with Cancer. And we all know when it rains it pours… He meets up with an evil scientist, Ajax (Ed Skrein), who tortures, disfigures and transforms him into an uglier version of Shrek. On the brighter side, it leaves him with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With the help of Mutant allies, Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hilderbrand) he hunts down this guy who made him look like that.

A super but not hero like movie. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie as it was so funny. The way the relationship between him and his girlfriend is crazy to the witty humor, it was just awesome and relateable. This movie is also to be viewed by over 18 as they curse like sailors. The plot twist at the end is also very awesome. His nonstop shenanigans and smart mouth enlighten the script. The movie contains numerous flashbacks to his past to connect and join the dots to the movie, which makes it even funnier.

Ryan has never been one to shy away from this kind of movies. Though he hides his face in a mask the whole time. The stunts are amazing; the cast brings on their A game and the graphics are also good. I would give it a  9 out of ten. Happy watching… and ohh… be careful not to choke on your popcorns as Ryan will creep into your funny bone without a warning!!! Hahaha
