- Friends
Joint: Central Perk
Friends: Rachael, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey
Best Guest Star: Janice
After 20 years, Friends is still a classic, and just like the title suggests it’s about a group of 20 something-year-olds facing the challenges of adulthood. Some of the challenges handled in some episodes of Friends are still relevant today.
- How I Met Your Mother
Joint: MacLaren’s Pub
Friends: Robin, Barney, Lily, Ted, Marshall
Best Guest Star: A multitude of celebrity guests (Read about them here.)
Although the finale of “How I Met Your Mother” was disappointing, that fact doesn’t remove from the fact that it was a great comedy. The comedy is about how Ted met the mother of his children.
- Big Bang Theory
Joint: Mostly Sheldon’s apartment or the Comic Book store.
Friends: Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Koothrappali, Howard, Amy, Bernadette.
Best Guest Star: Arthur Jefferies
Big Bang Theory is serial proof that the geeks and nerds have taken over. The show revolves around a group of extremely intelligent friends who are all scientists except for Penny. They geek out about “Star Wars”, comic books and games. It’s also pretty funny.
- It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Joint: Paddy’s Pub
Friends: Charlie, Mac, Deandra, Dennis, Frank, Mathew, Artemis.
Best Guest Star: The Waitress.
They’re rude to each other, and the rest of the world, and that’s just how they roll. They’re also very weird people who often find themselves in the most uncomfortable of situations.
- Undateable
Joint: Black Eyes Bar
Friends: Danny, Justin, Shelly, Leslie, Burski, Brett.
Best Guest Star: The Scrubs cast
Undateable is a great comedy show. Both Season one and two were done in the normal comedy format, but Season 3 followed a live format which was lauded by critics as ingenious and compelling.
